Open Science

“Open Science is the principle and practice of making research products and processes available to all, while respecting diverse cultures, maintaining security and privacy, and fostering collaborations, reproducibility, and equity.” ~open.science.gov

The push for more open science has grown in recent years, with explicit requirements in support of open science from federal funders and publishers. Effectively planning for open science should start at the beginning of the project, and impact all stages.
